Goki - Bakehouse & Coffee Shop in Arcadia offers a quiet, welcoming spot that balances its roots in Mexican and Oaxacan flavors with a laid-back coffee shop atmosphere. Located at a street corner near downtown, it naturally attracts locals looking for a peaceful place to work or catch up with friends without the usual urban rush.

The interior is thoughtfully laid out with ample seating and plenty of outlets, making it a practical choice for those wanting to settle in with a laptop or a good book during quieter weekday mornings or afternoons. The vibe feels unhurried and respectful of personal space, appealing to freelancers, students, and anyone appreciating a low-key coffee break.

The menu presents a range of coffee and baked goods that lean into traditional Mexican influences, offering drinks and snacks you won’t find at the typical American café. Standout options include their house-blended coffees like the gently spiced Goki Latte and the distinctive Café de Olla, which warm up the palate with specialized flavors. Their baked goods, especially the Pan de Elote Mexican-style cornbread and weekend-only vanilla conchas, add a comforting, sweet balance to the savory drinks.

Locals appreciate that the place is both cozy and bright, with a friendly touch from the owners that gives it a neighborhood feel rather than a corporate chain vibe. The menu is varied enough to offer something new each visit without feeling overwhelming, making Goki a spot where repeat visits feel natural.

Overall, Goki works well as a casual hangout for anyone interested in coffee culture that nods to Mexico’s rich culinary traditions, a quiet workspace outside the home, or a weekend stop for a more artisan take on baked treats. Early weekdays or mid-afternoons might be best for those wanting to catch the calm flowing through the space, while mornings will please those eager for a strong coffee and a light bite before the day kicks in fully.

Great corner place with delicious lattes and baked goods. I came here to work on my computer for a bit: great connectivity, lots of plugs, quiet place to work. I loved being here and can’t wait to go back. They were so kind, attentive, and helpful. The menu is varied but not overwhelming. The Goki latte was so delicious and the chocolate chip cookie was a great complement

Such a gem in the quiet downtown of Arcadia. From KC and loving Oaxaca food experience and this place has amazing baked goods and great vibe. Came back next day

This was an unusual and excellent Goki Mocha. It had strong chocolate flavor but wasn't overly sweet. It was an unexpected treat.

Lovely little mom and pop shop, everyone here is so friendly and helpful! Great open space with plenty of seating for its size. Has quality drinks and food with a Mexican flair. Their cornbread is really popular. I got the Goki latte (deliciously spiced) as well as the vanilla concha, which they serve on the weekend. It was a light sweet bread roll (not too sweet) with a crunchy crust. Refreshing and paired well with the coffee. Would definitely come back again to try more of the menu.

They have straight coffee, teas, agua frescas, espresso drinks, signature lattes, handcrafted chocolate and savory items such as avocado toast and chicken & mole. Big windows for that therapeutic natural light. Lots of seating so you can come with your 2 or 5 of your friends and chisme over some hot or cold drinks. They have a bar table along the wall that also has outlets so you can study or work. They have a nice selection of pastries you can't really get anywhere else. They seem super specific to this cafe and for the theme nicely. Their coffee reminds me of the infamous LAUSD coffee cake. It's delicious. The Goki Latte was mildly sweet, perfectly foamy, and delicious. It has agave, honey, and cinnamon. All the ingredients blend well together and make the perfect rainy day drink.

Staying at a hotel nearby, in need of a great coffee fix. I was so happy to come across Goki cafe. Super cute cafe, nice seating layout. A bar area to post up with your laptop to do some work or a little table to enjoy your breakfast. Lovely. I had the avocado toast and house salad, a generous heap of spinach with strawberries and balsamic dressing. The avocado toast had this cotija cheese crumbled on top of the creamy avocado served on a lightly toasted baguette, amazing. The iced coffee was exactly what I wanted it be. Delicious! I got a slice of banana nut bread for a sweet treat later, it was soft and sweet. This breakfast spot was so nice I came back the next day and had it again. Fantastic! Service was excellent, friendly staff, great recommendations.
